🏠Hybrid Working🏠
Oxford Global offer hybrid working for all permanent staff members. On passing probation, staff are able to begin working remotely 2 days a week (this is at the discretion of your manager, and all teams have set core days in the office).
🚲Cycle to Work Scheme🚲
Oxford Global has joined the government sponsored Cycle to Work Scheme. On passing probation, all permanent staff are eligible to participate. The scheme allows staff to pay for a cycle (plus safety equipment) without having to pay income tax and national insurance on the purchase. You could save up to 42% on a new bike, although this varies depending on things like individual tax codes & value of purchase. You choose a bike, hire it for an agreed length of time, then wind its value down to a negligible amount.
How does it work & how do I apply?
- Pick your package & apply – you can apply for Cyclescheme by visiting this link
- Get your gear – Oxford Global will review your application & pay for your Cyclescheme package. Cyclescheme will then send you an eCertificate – you can exchange your eCertificate for your gear in-store or online. You then make monthly repayments less income tax & NI by salary sacrifice (payments deducted direct from your monthly pay)
- Choose an ownership package – when your hire agreement & salary sacrifice ends, you can keep your Cyclescheme package by making a small additional payment.
Anyone leaving Oxford Global during the hire period must repay outstanding payments including tax. Officially the cycle must be used for getting to work – but no one will be checking!
💳bYond card & discounted gift cards💳
Don't forget to check out these fantastic perks, available to all staff via our partnership with Cyclescheme.
All staff members are welcome to use them (you don't have to sign up for a bike via Cyclescheme to do so!)

🚗Electric Car Scheme – loveelectric🚗
Oxford Global has joined the loveelectric, lease for less, electric car scheme. It is similar to the cycle to work scheme (please see above), although a key difference is there is no requirement to use the car to get to work. To be eligible for the scheme, staff must have completed 2 years’ service.
How does it work?
In return for leasing a brand new electric car for a fixed term of your choosing, each month you make a small salary sacrifice, and in doing so, end up saving around 40-50% of your monthly motoring costs via tax and national insurance savings. Not only is it an amazing staff perk, but it also helps our company work towards reducing our net emissions.
To give you a taste, loveelectric offers cars such as the VW ID.3 for around £250 a month, BMWs from £300 a month, and Tesla’s from £450 a month. It’s an all-inclusive package, so covers; fully comprehensive car insurance, road tax, breakdown cover, maintenance, and servicing. No deposit or credit check is required either. The savings could of course be higher or lower depending on your postcode, age, and salary. You can get personalised quotes in the loveelectric app.
If you’d like to take a peek and see how much you could save, you can visit: https://app.loveelectric.cars/join/oxford-global-marketing to set up an account and generate quick and easy personalised quotes. This is where you would also place an order. The team at loveelectric are on hand at any time to help you with any queries - just contact orders@loveelectric.cars, or they also have a live chat box on their app.
🚅Public Transport Loan Scheme🚅
On passing probation, all permanent staff are eligible to sign up to Oxford Global’s Public Transport Loan Scheme. Through this scheme, we hope to support our staff members financially whilst also contributing towards our aim to proactively protect the environment – reducing reliance on cars and encouraging travel by more sustainable modes of transport.
The scheme is done via an interest-free loan, which you’d repay to the company on a monthly basis through payroll.
Typically, paying monthly for your season ticket through a transport company can cost more in the long run as interest is applied. This scheme helps staff take advantage of the cheaper annual fee, but still spread the cost.
Conditions
- On passing probation, all permanent staff are eligible to sign up.
- The loan can be used for season tickets for bus or rail, standard class travel only.
- Loans will be repaid monthly, over a period of 12 months or less.
- Only 1 loan can be made at any one time, & no further requests for loans will be considered until full repayment of any previous loan has been made.
- When signing up, staff will be asked to provide proof of purchase for the season ticket.
- OG are not responsible for issuing refunds or replacements for lost or stolen season tickets.
- Staff are responsible for paying directly to the transport company any excess amount due in relation to the season ticket above the loan amount applied for.
- If for any reason a staff member leaves the company before the total of the loan has been repaid, any outstanding amount will be deducted from the staff members pay.
Please email r.hickman@oxfordglobal.com if you would like to sign up.
